It is a local green building certification system developed by the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
The Local Green Certificate System (YeS-TR), developed for the purpose of disseminating energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building and settlement practices at national and local levels in Turkey, provides certificates to buildings and settlements by authorized institutions.
In order to obtain a green certificate from the building an application is made to the assessment agency authorized by the Ministry through the Green Certificate Specialist.
The building or campus, which is evaluated in accordance with the "National Evaluation Guide", is scored by the experts within the evaluation body. The green certificate specialist records the information of the building or campus for which the certificate is requested to the YeS-TR system. They decide on the certificate level by evaluating the information recorded in the system by the evaluation experts approved by the Ministry and, when necessary, by on-site inspection.
BBT Integrated Building Design, Construction, and Management
Buildings are to be built with the goal of sustainable green buildings; it is to ensure that an integrated project delivery process is managed with the participation of all project stakeholders, where the entire system and process is planned from the beginning of the project.
YMD Building Material and Life Cycle Assessment
It aims to reduce the use of exhaustible and non-renewable natural resources, to reduce all kinds of solid, liquid, and gaseous wastes that are released as a result of technological and industrial production processes and mix with air, soil and water, and to eliminate the negative effects on human health in the buildings where the selected materials are applied.
IOC Indoor Quality
The general purpose of the IOC main module; Passive (natural lighting, natural ventilation, passive air-conditioning, architectural acoustics) and active systems (such as artificial lighting, active as well as through ventilation, heating systems); to increase awareness, efficiency, and productivity, and satisfaction on the subject.
EKV Energy Use and Efficiency
In this module, the processes of designing new buildings and renovating existing buildings; to ensure that measures to improve building energy performance are included. For this purpose; it is aimed to optimize the use of energy in buildings by reducing the energy need of buildings, using energy effectively and evaluating solutions for the use of renewable energy sources, and making use of appropriate resources.
SAY Water and Waste Management
The general purpose of the SAY module; ensuring sustainable and effective use of water in buildings and taking into account the evaluation of alternative water resources (such as rainwater, and gray water). In addition, the planning and implementation of the management of solid wastes arising from domestic uses in buildings; to increase awareness, efficiency, productivity, and satisfaction on the subject.
INO Innovation_Building
Aims to encourage all innovative or remedial practices that increase environmental and vital quality, target a conscious building user profile, and include solutions and training for raising consumer awareness.
Green Certificate Guide buildings in the certification process; evaluate in two modules: new building and existing building.
Green Certificate grades are determined by the total weighted amount of credits earned. A maximum of 100 credits can be taken from the total of the modules. For the Building Rating System; A four-stage certification process has been developed for the new building and the existing building separately.
