Another green building certification system is the TRUE- Zero Waste Certificate, which addresses the issue of Zero Waste. This certification is also offered by GBCI, the developer of the LEED Certification, and includes the potential to audit existing structures and activities by establishing zero waste targets. One of the most prominent features of this certificate is that it can be obtained both in buildings and at events. Projects with this certificate contribute to the circular economy by establishing their goals in waste management and improving their existing goals. Since waste is seen as a resource at one point, it provides added value to projects if managed correctly.
The content of the TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) certificate and the processes up to the certificate are mentioned in the training. As in the LEED system, the certificate is evaluated on a rating table, and if the credits are reached, the certificate level is determined.
In our training within the scope of TRUE Certificate, the topics to be mentioned through the rating table are listed below:
With the TRUE Zero Waste training, you will have the opportunity to take your first step on the way to the title of certificate controller and expert called True Advisor. Our training is open for anyone who is curious about Zero Waste targets and how to reach these targets.
