This unique event venue, which preserves its historical character while integrating modern architecture, stands out as a model of success in energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and healthy indoor environmental quality. In this project, ERKE provided LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification consultancy services.
The LEED Gold Certification demonstrates Divan Kuruçeşme’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and successful implementation of high-performance green building standards. This globally recognized certification evaluates buildings based on various environmental criteria such as energy use, water efficiency, waste management, transportation solutions, and indoor air quality.
Energy efficiency played a key role in Divan Kuruçeşme’s path to LEED Gold certification. With the use of high-performance HVAC systems and LED lighting, energy consumption was significantly reduced, thereby minimizing carbon emissions.
Additionally, water-saving fixtures and efficient irrigation systems helped reduce water usage, while the selection of sustainable materials lowered the environmental impact. Recycling programs and bicycle-friendly infrastructure also contributed to the project’s environmentally conscious approach.

At ERKE, we played an active role in defining and achieving the sustainability goals of the Divan Kuruçeşme project.
