LEED Consultancy for Sustainable Hospitality
At ERKE Design, we provided consultancy services for the LEED BD+C: New Construction (v2009) certification of the Burla Seba Hotel Dolapdere project. Completed at the Gold level in November 2015, the project is a significant milestone that successfully met environmental sustainability standards in the hospitality sector.
Project Achievements
Sustainable Site Utilization
The project earned 22 out of 26 points in the sustainable site category by implementing strategies to promote alternative transportation. Solutions such as access to public transportation, bicycle parking, and dedicated parking for low-emission vehicles contributed to this success.
Water Efficiency
The project achieved 6 out of 10 points in water efficiency by utilizing innovative wastewater technologies and efficient irrigation systems.
Energy Efficiency
Through optimized energy performance, energy monitoring systems, and efficient mechanical systems, the project earned 8 out of 35 points in the energy and atmosphere category.
Indoor Environmental Quality
By using low-emission materials and implementing indoor air quality management, the project created a healthy and comfortable environment, earning 9 out of 15 points in this category.
