A Sustainable Data Center with ERKE’s LEED Consultancy
At ERKE Design, we provided consultancy services for the LEED BD+C: New Construction (v2009) certification of the KKB Data Center project. Completed at the Platinum level in February 2018, the project achieved the highest success in environmental sustainability standards, marking a significant milestone.
Project Achievements
Water Efficiency
The project earned the maximum score of 10 points in the water efficiency category. Innovative wastewater technologies and low-water-use landscaping designs supported this achievement.
Energy Performance
The project achieved full points, 19 out of 19, in the optimized energy performance category. Energy-saving systems and advanced energy management strategies were integrated into the project.
Indoor Environmental Quality
To create a healthy and comfortable indoor environment, low-emission materials were used, and indoor air quality management was implemented, earning 12 points in this category.
Sustainable Site Utilization
The project scored 17 points by implementing strategies such as alternative transportation options and stormwater management.
