With its environmentally sustainable design and practices, the Tepe Betopan Factory has been awarded LEED BD+C: New Construction (v2009) Gold Certification, achieving a total of 60 points. This success, supported by ERKE’s expert LEED consultancy, highlights the factory’s achievements in water and energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and sustainable material use.
Key Sustainability Highlights
1. Water Efficiency (10/10 Points):
The factory achieved full points in water management through innovative solutions such as water-efficient landscaping and low-flow fixtures. Wastewater technologies contributed significantly to water conservation, supporting the preservation of natural resources.
2. Indoor Environmental Quality (13/15 Points):
Low-emission materials, thermal comfort design, and optimized daylight usage created a healthy and comfortable environment for employees. The high score in this category demonstrates the factory's commitment to occupant health and well-being.
