A New Standard in Sustainable Office Spaces
At ERKE Design, we provided consultancy services for the LEED BD+C: Core and Shell (v2009) certification of the My Newwork project. Completed at the Gold level in September 2019, the project delivered eco-friendly solutions to meet the modern business world's needs through sustainable office design.
Project Achievements
Sustainable Site Utilization
The project earned 22 out of 28 points by implementing features such as access to public transportation, bicycle parking, and dedicated parking for low-emission vehicles. These measures helped reduce the carbon footprint and encouraged eco-friendly transportation options.
Water Efficiency
The project scored 4 out of 10 points in the water efficiency category by integrating efficient landscaping systems and water-saving technologies.
Energy Performance
The project earned 17 out of 37 points in the energy and atmosphere category by optimizing energy performance. Advanced energy measurement and management systems further enhanced the project’s energy efficiency.
Materials and Resource Management
The project achieved 6 out of 13 points by combining the use of recycled and locally sourced materials with effective construction waste management.
Indoor Environmental Quality
Scoring 9 out of 12 points, the project used low-emission materials and implemented indoor air quality solutions. Additionally, thermal comfort and lighting controls created a healthier and more comfortable environment for occupants.
Regional Priority Credits
The project earned 3 out of 4 points by addressing local sustainability goals, demonstrating its environmental awareness and alignment with regional needs.
