At ERKE Design, we provided consultancy services for the Citibank Allianz Office under the LEED ID+C: Commercial Interiors (v4) certification system. Completed in January 2022 at the Platinum level, the project has set a new standard in environmentally friendly office design.
Water Efficiency:
With innovative solutions focused on water conservation, the project achieved a perfect score of 12/12 in the water efficiency category. These measures minimized water consumption and reduced environmental impact.
Energy Performance:
Through advanced energy management systems and energy-saving solutions, the project earned 28 out of 63 points in the energy and atmosphere category. Optimized energy performance and the integration of renewable energy sources contributed significantly to the project’s success.
Materials and Resources Management:
The use of recycled and sustainable materials, combined with effective construction waste management, resulted in 6 out of 13 points in the materials and resources category.
Indoor Environmental Quality:
By incorporating low-emission materials, maximizing natural light access, and implementing air quality solutions, the project scored 10 out of 17 points in the indoor environmental quality category. These strategies enhanced employee comfort, creating a healthier and more productive office environment.
Transportation and Location:
The office’s accessibility to transportation options and sustainable commuting solutions earned 17 out of 20 points in this category. This not only reduced employees’ carbon footprints but also increased environmental awareness.
Innovation and Regional Priority Credits:
The project achieved a perfect score of 5/5 in the innovation category and 2 out of 4 points in regional priority credits. Its innovative solutions and alignment with local sustainability goals made the project truly unique.
The Citibank Allianz Office demonstrates how sustainability can be integrated into office projects through water and energy conservation, natural resource optimization, and environmentally friendly solutions. The project successfully combined environmental and economic benefits.
