The İDA JES ADM Building, located in Çanakkale, achieved LEED O+M: Existing Buildings Platinum Certification in 2023, becoming a flagship project in sustainability with its environmentally friendly practices. As ERKE, we provided comprehensive LEED consultancy, implementing innovative strategies in energy performance, water efficiency, materials management, and indoor environmental quality. Earning a total of 88 points, the building demonstrated its commitment to minimizing environmental impacts while achieving outstanding performance.

1. Excellence in Energy and Water Performance

The project excelled in both the Energy and Atmosphere and Water Efficiency categories, achieving:

• 33/35 points in Energy and Atmosphere
• 13/15 points in Water Efficiency

Key strategies included:

• Energy Performance (32/33 points): Advanced energy management and monitoring systems were implemented, significantly improving energy efficiency and reducing the building’s carbon footprint.
• Water Performance (13/15 points): Innovative fixtures and systems optimized water consumption, supporting long-term resource conservation.

2. Exemplary Approaches to Indoor Environmental Quality

In the Indoor Environmental Quality category, the project scored 20/22 points, prioritizing user health and comfort. Notable initiatives included:

• Indoor Air Quality (19/20 points): High air quality standards were achieved through efficient ventilation and advanced filtration systems, creating a healthier workspace for occupants.
• Green Cleaning (1/1 point): The use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and methods reduced environmental impact while protecting employee health.

3. Success in Transportation and Site Management

The project earned a perfect score of 14/14 points in Transportation Performance by encouraging sustainable commuting options for employees. Additionally, effective Site Management policies were implemented to conserve natural resources and improve the surrounding environment.
