At ERKE Design, we provided consultancy services for the Park Yaşam Ataşehir - B Block project under the LEED BD+C: New Construction (v2009) certification system. Completed in February 2018 at the Gold level, the project is a success story that highlights the importance of environmental sustainability in modern residential developments.
Sustainable Site Development:
The project scored 23 out of 26 points in the sustainable site category by incorporating features like access to public transportation, parking spaces for low-emission vehicles, and bicycle parking facilities. These measures ensure residents have easy access to environmentally friendly transportation options.
Water Efficiency:
Through innovative water management solutions and efficient irrigation systems, the project earned 8 out of 10 points in the water efficiency category. These measures contributed to conserving natural resources and reducing costs.
Energy Performance:
In the energy and atmosphere category, the project scored 9 out of 35 points by implementing optimized energy performance measures and energy-efficient mechanical systems, successfully reducing energy consumption.
Materials and Resources:
By utilizing recycled and locally sourced materials and managing construction waste efficiently, the project achieved 6 out of 14 points in the materials and resources category, reflecting an environmentally conscious construction approach.
Indoor Environmental Quality:
The project scored 8 out of 15 points in indoor environmental quality by using low-emission materials and providing thermal comfort systems. These measures created a healthier and more comfortable living environment for residents.
Innovation and Regional Priority Credits:
The project achieved full points (6/6) in the innovation category and 3 out of 4 points for regional priority credits, showcasing its innovative designs and solutions tailored to local needs.
